William Hoagland, Chairman, President, W. Hoagland and Associates, Inc.

Mr. Hoagland has managed renewable energy programs for almost twenty years. As a program manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, he managed federal programs in hydrogen, solar thermal materials, alcohol fuels, and biomass conversion. Mr. Hoagland is currently president of W. Hoagland & Associates, Inc., an energy consulting firm, in Boulder, Colorado.

Henry W. Wedaa, Vice Chairman
Chairman Emeritus, South Coast Air Quality Management District Member. U.S. DOE Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel

Mr. Wedaa is Chairman Emeritus of the South Coast Air Quality Management District. He helped establish some of the world's most stringent environmental measures, and helped establish the Technology Advancement Office at SCAQMD, which funded antipollution technology at up to $8 million per year. He is currently serving as councilman for the City of Yorba Linda, California.

Geoffrey B. Holland, Managing Director
President, Cognizant Media Ltd.

Mr. Holland is president of Cognizant Media, a company focused on feature film and documentary video production. His most recent credits include the one hour documentary, Element One, and the award-winning 29 minute educational video, Renewable Power: Earth's Clean Energy Destiny. He also produced The View From Malabar, a documentary about farmland preservation in Ohio with WOSU-TV PBS, in Columbus. Mr. Holland is also managing director of Hydrogen 2000, Inc.

Larry L. Berg, Ph.D.
University of Southern California

Dr. Berg is professor at USC and a member of the Board of Directors of Ballard Power Systems, a Canadian fuel cell developer. He helped establish some of the most stringent environmental measures in the world while serving on the executive board of South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). He established the Technology Advancement Office (TAO) at SCAQMD, which funds antipollution technology.

Richard Cromwell III
General Manager, Sunline Transit Agency

Under the leadership of Mr. Cromwell, the SunLine Transit Agency in the Coachella Valley in California, made history in 1994 by becoming the first public transit fleet in the nation to park its entire fleet of diesel buses and switch overnight to a fleet powered entirely by compressed natural gas. Since beginning his transit career in 1991, he has been the driving force behind numerous clean air accomplishments, including building a hydrogen generation facility at SunLine's headquarters. Known as the "champion of alternate fuels," he serves on several committees with the California Transit Association, is a member of the Board of the Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition, the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition, and the National Hydrogen Association. He is also Vice-Chair of Westart/CALSTART.

Frank E. Lynch
President, Hydrogen Components, Inc.

Franklin E. Lynch has been the President and "hands-on" manager of Hydrogen Consultants, Inc. (HCI) since 1978, and has over 26 years in alternative fuels development. He developed a clean hydrogen and natural gas blend fuel, Hythane™. HCI has studied, developed, demonstrated, and manufactured many hydrogen-based systems involving high-pressure gas, cryogenics, and metal hydrides. Mr. Lynch has served on the Secretary of Energy's Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel and the National Hydrogen Association's Board of Directors. As a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, he has lectured on hydrogen-powered mining vehicles, hydrogen, and Hythane™.

Paul B. Scott, Sc.D.
Director of Projects, Stuart Energy USA

Dr. Scott is the Director of Projects for Stuart Energy USA, and a consulting staff scientist for ISE Research. He was the on-site engineer for the Xerox/Clean Air Now Solar Hydrogen Project and has since participated in Stuart and ISE development programs including the implementation of the first commercial hydrogen fueling station (at SunLine Transit, in Thousand Palms, CA), and in the development of hybrid electric buses and class 8 tractors. He has participated in hydrogen engine development with University of California, Center for Environmental Engineering Research and with the University of Miami, and has taken the lead on variable gaseous fuel (mixed hydrogen and natural gas) development.

Patrick K. Takahashi, Ph.D.
Director, retired, Hawaii Natural Energy Institute and Professor, University of Hawaii

Dr. Takahashi holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, and for over a quarter of a century has been a professor of engineering at the University of Hawaii with direction over the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute. He worked in industry as a biofuels engineer and a computer applications specialist, and in government as a special assistant to U.S. Senator Spark Matsunaga. He also studied sustainable systems at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Dr. Takahashi was Vice President of The Pacific International Center for High Technology Research, and was a past chairman of the Secretary of Energy's Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel.

William D. Van Vorst, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus, UCLA

Dr. Van Vorst is a pioneer in the use of hydrogen as a vehicular fuel, having contributed to UCLA's "Hydrogen - Car" projects in the early 1970's. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, and serves on its publications committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Clean Air Now! Foundation.

Susan Leach
Executive Director, Hydrogen 2000, Inc.

Ms. Leach served as an advisor to Hydrogen 2000, Inc. from its inception until the fall of 2000, when she was named Executive Director. She served as associate producer of Renewable Power, and co-wrote and produced Hydrogen: The Matter of Safety and Hydrogen: The Safe and Clean Fuel. Ms. Leach has more than ten years experience in the field. She worked in the Hydrogen Program at NREL from 1991 to1994, and served as vice president of the National Hydrogen Association in Washington, D.C. from 1994 to 1997.
